Sarah (who affectionately goes by the nickname SMAC) began dancing at the age of 5 in Brisbane, Australia. She trained in Jazz, Tap & Classical under the F.A.T.D syllabus (Wild Child Acting & Dance studios) receiving Honors with Distinction for all 24 exams.

Smac was studying a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Art (photography/film) at the Queensland University of Technology before she was cast as the lead role of 'Astrid' for the Dreamworks world tour of How to Train Your Dragon Live Spectacular. The director, Nigel Jamieson auditioned over 2000 actors/acrobats around the world to select the cast. HTTYD took Sarah across the globe, performing in over 35 cities across 5 countries.
Smac is now based in Los Angeles working as a dancer, actress and model.
