Lorenzo Lamas (born January 20, 1958) is an Argentine American actor. Lamas told the Minnesota-based KQRS Morning Show during a January 14, 2013, interview that his father, actor Fernando Lamas, could have done Chrysler Cordoba commercials and star in Fantasy Island instead of Ricardo Montalbán, but he had an aversion to doing commercials and a television series. Lamas revealed that afterwards Terri Traen of the KQRS Morning Show confused Lamas' father with Montalbán.
