Also in 2010, she was in Wolfgang Dinslages Feature Fur Elise play the main role. 2011 Bauer received starring roles in two other films: In Christian Petzold's award-winning drama DDR Barbara, she played along side Nina Hoss and Ronald Zehrfeld. Directed by Bettina Blümner she played the main character in the film adaptation Scherbenpark by Alina Bronskys's novel.
2012 followed by the first filming for German TV. In Kai Wessels miniseries time of heroes Bauer was hired for one of the lead roles and ensemble playing on the side of Inka Friedrich, Oliver Stokowski and Julia Hunter. [3]
Since October 2011, Bauer has as patron of the German Tourette society eV. She lives in Berlin and Vienna.
