Emily Keefe was born in Red Bank, New Jersey to Linda Citarella, a middle school English and history teacher, and James Keefe. She is of Italian, Scottish, and Irish decent. She has two step-sisters, Amanda and Lindsay Asaro from her Stepfather, Sal.
